I decided to use breadcrumbs this time because it was easier, but if you have time I’d recommend using rice. I used to try and add everything but the kitchen sink to my food, but I’ve learned to KISS – Keep it simple stupid, which is what I’ve tried to do with my bell pepper recipe.
From my brain:
Halve 3 bell peppers and remove seeds. Blanche for 5 mins in boiling water. Dry and place on baking sheet.
Mix 1 lb ground beef, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 egg, a couple dashes worcestershire, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder with hands. Portion into 6 parts, and fill each bell pepper half.
Pour tomato sauce on top (the sauce by itself was a little tart, I think next time I’m going to have to make it a little more savory)
Bake in a 375 oven for about 25 minutes.
