Biscuits and Gravy

I love when I have the right leftovers to make something delicious.

Biscuits + sausage + butter + flour + milk =
Biscuits and gravy

Biscuits & Gravy

1 can biscuits (I used Pillsbury flaky layers)
1 in hunk of sausage
3 tbs butter
3 tbs flour
1 cup milk (preferably whole milk)

  • Bake biscuits according to directions
  • In skillet on medium heat, brown sausage until cooked through
  • Set aside, and drain fat
  • Melt butter and add flour
  • Whisk and continue cooking the roux for about 3 minutes
  • Slowly whisk in milk
  • Heat until thickened
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Add browned sausage
  • Spoon gravy over two biscuit halves
