Biscuits + sausage + butter + flour + milk =

Biscuits & Gravy
1 can biscuits (I used Pillsbury flaky layers)
1 in hunk of sausage
3 tbs butter
3 tbs flour
1 cup milk (preferably whole milk)
Salt
Pepper
- Bake biscuits according to directions
- In skillet on medium heat, brown sausage until cooked through
- Set aside, and drain fat
- Melt butter and add flour
- Whisk and continue cooking the roux for about 3 minutes
- Slowly whisk in milk
- Heat until thickened
- Season with salt and pepper
- Add browned sausage
- Spoon gravy over two biscuit halves
Now you need to try chicken n’ waffles and fish n’ grits! 🙂
