Sakulthai

I don’t have one favorite cuisine, but thai is definitely top 5.  Wanting to celebrate the end of the first week of tax season, I treated myself to Sakulthai in Alexandria, VA.  I oDrunken noodlerdered the regular – drunken noodles with beef and tom yum soup with chicken.  Apparently my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I didn’t get to the tom yum, but I’ve had it there before and it’s good.  I have yet to find a place that makes consistently good drunken noodle, sometimes it’s overly spicy, underseasoned, or burnt, but the drunken noodle on Friday was perfect.  Delcious flat-rice noodles, with tender beef, garlic, and basil.  Just thinking about it makes me want more.
